Make an impact in Deakin’s Infrastructure & Digital division following an exciting period of change within the University. These key positions work closely with Portfolio Delivery leaders and teams and provide analytical support for the planning, execution and evaluation of digital and physical infrastructure projects. The roles are focused on enhancing the customer experience through integrating physical and digital infrastructure, projects, and services to deliver seamless, impactful solutions tailored to customer needs.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Analysis, the Senior Project Analyst will ensure that project objectives are met by providing essential business analysis and data driven insights, project reporting, tracking project performance and facilitating communication between senior stakeholders.

To be successful, you’ll have :

• Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
• Extensive experience and management expertise; or
• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education / training (engineering, IT, project management or business).
• Extensive experience working in project / business analysis or management, in a physical or digital development environment, from project inception (e.g. business cases) to post-implementation support. Extensive experience working with teams to implement new initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis or project analysis with the ability to interpret complex project data and provide actionable insights. Extensive experience working with senior stakeholders to solve abstract business problems.
• For those from a digital background, familiarity with a variety of IT systems and principles. Technical and data analysis skills in platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Peoplesoft, Azure, or research / student management systems will be highly regarded.
• For those from a physical infrastructure background, familiarity with building systems and processes. Experience in workplace management systems such as Archibus, project management software, CAD, and / or Building Information Modelling systems will be highly regarded.
• A diverse range of experiences and a creative approach to your work. Higher education experience is useful, but not essential.
