Senior Project Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join a vibrant & well-respected manufacturing company based in the Kendal area on a permanent basis.

As the Senior Project Accountant, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development of the growth & development of the Project finance team, collaborating with operation & project teams across the business.

About the role
Based in Kendal, you will be responsible for:

• Analysis, maintenance, and calculation of project revenue - ensuring that internal & external audit trails are complete.
• Production of detailed monthly reports, updating on project financial performance.
• Work with Project Finance & Senior finance to help steer positive transformation of the Project Finance function.
• Budgeting & forecasting across department and all projects.
• Lead the Project Finance Team.
• Collaboration with operational teams across the business.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position must have:

• Experience within a project accountant role.
• Full qualified accountant (CGMA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA or similar).
• 2+ years' experience within a similar role.
• Hands-on approach, with team management, process & report development & collaboration.

What's on offer

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
• Bonus: personally & company performance based.
