Job description

A Leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Senior Production Operator to join their team. This is a unique chance to lead from the front, implement improvements.


This Senior Production Operator will work 4 days week one, 4 nights week 2 on rotation (no weekends).


Production Operator responsibilities include:
  1. Take full ownership of daily operations on your area, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for operational enhancement and implementing sustainable solutions.
  3. Ensure machinery and equipment is running correctly on the line.
  4. Contribute effectively at changeovers to ensure that they happen within the allocated time.
  5. Comply with Health, Safety, Environmental and food safety procedures, work instructions and safe systems of work.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—planning, quality, and maintenance—to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.
  7. Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving and minimising downtime.

You will ideally be a Senior Production Operative used to working within a food manufacturing environment.
