Job Description

The Details

As a Data Product Manager at ASOS, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality data platforms, products, and analytics solutions. Collaborating closely with Engineering Leads, you will define the vision, strategy and roadmap for data initiatives, ensuring alignment with ASOS’s strategic business goals. By solving the right problems and delivering innovative, scalable solutions, you will empower ASOS’s teams to make data-driven decisions, foster innovation and enhance operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for defining the “why” and “what” behind data product development, while partnering with engineering to determine the “how” and “when.” Working across cross-functional teams, you will deliver data products that provide business value, enhance insights and enable a culture of data empowerment across the organisation.

Qualifications

About You

  • Proven experience in data product management, including data platforms, core data models or analytical solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of data systems, analytics and governance.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to define and deliver impactful data solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on solving high-impact problems and delivering value.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, including junior Product Managers.
  • Experience driving strategic initiatives and managing a portfolio of complex products or projects.
  • Expertise in fostering innovation and building scalable solutions in a high-growth environment.
