DESCRIPTION

FTC role 12 months
Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic Senior Product Manager to focus on managing part of the Softlines Private Brands product family under Amazon Essentials in Europe. Private Brands is a long-term growth opportunity for Amazon.

You will need to:

  1. Understand market segment trends and landscape for your category to create strategic and immediate operating plans for your category
  2. Have a strong grasp of P&L input levers
  3. Thrive in ambiguous work environments
  4. Be a smart, hard-working and creative person who loves products, loves solving difficult problems and "getting it done"
  5. Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members including retail, sourcing, legal, patent and product compliance
  6. Have strong project management abilities to drive scalable initiatives on behalf of the private brands business

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering:

  1. Top and bottom line growth for the categories under your remit
  2. Creating a data-driven long-term roadmap for each category
  3. Identifying new product development opportunities and current products in need of refresh
  4. Driving the success of new product launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience in using analytical tools, knowledge of Excel at an advanced level and SQL
