Senior Product Expert - WMS Manhattan ACTIVE

Grade: RCS Grade I

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: Remote - regular travel to customer sites as required.

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Product Expert. You will be acting as the senior level expert in the WMS Manhattan ACTIVE product. This will include the analysis of systems and requirements and the design and build of solutions that may be in-house, off the shelf, or through third parties. You'll be solving technical issues of high complexity while covering aspects of quality assurance, configuration, testing, training, and documentation required to successfully implement the final solution.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

• Being the IT resource with extensive WMS Manhattan ACTIVE product knowledge and responsible for activities including WMS setup, testing, training, documentation, and project support.
• Defining and implementing template solutions and project deliverables to ensure that IT products are implemented in line with quality, time, and budget expectations.
• Supporting major complex WMS projects and initiatives including design workshops, product technical support and advice, product development, and integration design while supporting business development opportunities and WMS project delivery.
• Participating in IT and Operational discussions to understand both sides of the business requirements for identified gaps.
• Supporting teams on the WMS Manhattan ACTIVE product configuration and in the construction of interfaces from/to WMS.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Excellent WMS Manhattan ACTIVE product knowledge along with application configuration and implementation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand standard and specialist templates.
• A background in logistics engineering is beneficial.
• A deep and broad knowledge of WMS Manhattan ACTIVE.
• A passion for building deep functional knowledge on IT solutions.
