Senior Product Designer - Exchange

About the role:

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of Crypto.com’s institutional platform, bringing deep expertise in designing for complex trader workflows and a strong foundation in modular/atomic design systems. This role offers the chance to:

Responsibilities:

1. Craft a modular interface.
2. Develop and maintain a system of modular components that seamlessly assemble into advanced trading views.
3. Design tailored workflows and interactions to facilitate efficient customization and intuitive navigation.
4. Create detailed interfaces and visualizations that organize and present extensive data in trader-friendly formats.

Research and Measure:

1. Speak to users and understand their needs.
2. Research and measure platform usage to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
3. Track your changes and see how they affect key metrics.

Cross-Functional Excellence:

1. Partner with engineering leads to ensure seamless implementation of design system components and interactions.
2. Facilitate workshops and design reviews to align teams on design principles and implementation.
3. Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the system.

Technical Implementation:

1. Work closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility of design solutions.
2. Contribute to technical documentation and implementation guidelines.
3. Drive discussions about architecture and design patterns.

Requirements:

1. Must-Have Qualifications:
2. Experience with trading interfaces: Strong background in designing trading or financial platforms, with a focus on intricate, data-rich workflows.
3. 7+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years focused on desktop-class interfaces.
4. Proven track record of building and scaling complex, high-impact products.
5. Portfolio showcasing high-quality design and an understanding of trading environments.
6. Advanced Figma skills and expertise in prototyping.
7. Knowledge of front-end development principles and accessibility standards.
8. User research experience and proficiency in data-informed decision-making.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly convey design solutions and ideas.

Technical Expertise:

1. Mastery in creating and managing component libraries using modular and atomic design approaches.
2. Experience with design tokens and systematic visual design approaches.
3. Proficiency in version control systems for design assets.
4. Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and their impact on scalable design systems.

Leadership Abilities:

1. Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills for effective cross-team alignment.
2. Experience managing stakeholder relationships across technical and product teams.
3. Ability to shape product strategy through thoughtful, user-centered design.
