Where does this role fit in?

As part of the Procurement Team, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure procurement is efficient, compliant, and delivers real value. You’ll be supporting the Procurement Business Partner while working with teams across the business to help them manage contracts effectively.

What skills and experience do you need?

Role

We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast paced environment. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

1. A strong understanding of procurement regulations (Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023).
2. Experience managing procurement contracts, including benchmarking and spend analysis.
3. Knowledge of e-Procurement tools such as Sell2Wales and eTenderwales.
4. Excellent communication skills – you’ll be advising teams across the business.
5. Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
6. MCIPS Level 6 qualification (or working towards it) is desirable.

What are the pay and benefits?

1. This is a permanent role for 37 hours per week. The salary for this role is £37,782.
2. We welcome applications from candidates in various locations. This hybrid role offers office bases in Newport, Cardiff, or Swansea.
3. Our team primarily meets in Swansea, with travel reimbursed for those based in Cardiff or Newport (with home to base mileage adjusted in line with our policy).
4. 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 30 days with length of service.
