Senior Process Engineer - Outside IR35

Scope of Work: Kent is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to deliver Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design Projects in the Energy and Chemicals industry.

Deliverables: Reporting to the area lead engineer or lead engineer on feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC project, the Senior Process Engineer will develop the following deliverables:

• Process Basis of Design
• Input to Basic Engineering Design Data
• Process philosophies
• Block Flow Diagram and Overall Material Balance
• Process Simulations
• Heat & Material Balance
• Process & Utilities Flow Diagrams
• Design Pressure & Design Temperature Diagram
• Input to Material Selection Diagrams
• Equipment Sizing, Equipment Data Sheets, Equipment List
• Line Sizing, Line List
• Input to Instrument List
• Control Valve Sizing, Relief Load Calculation, Relief Valve Sizing
• Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams for Process units, Utility & Offsite systems and Infrastructure
• Active participation in project meetings

Key Requirements:

• Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering
• Experienced in feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design and EPC projects
• Knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards and codes
• Capable of performing above deliverables/ activities with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets
• Responsible for communicating technical/ project issues potentially impacting the project to the lead engineer.
• Senior Process engineer is accountable to the area lead engineer, lead engineer or project engineer.
