The Role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Managing the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.

Requirements

Day-to-day, you’ll be resolving specific technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations, providing, reviewing and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:

• Accountable for designs, developments and determines solutions to problems and issues within a specialist subject area.
• Able to work on a range of engineering problems involving high levels of complexity & uncertainty.
• Provides help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development.
• Assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.
• Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Hessle, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience Of The Senior Process Engineer

• Demonstratable experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
• Experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
• Good communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
• Ideally, you will have experience in the nuclear industry but, this is not essential.

Qualifications For The Senior Process Engineer

• You must hold a chemical engineering degree.
• Ideally, you will be working towards chartership.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
