Eleven have been retained by a leading Green Chemicals company seeking an experienced Senior Process Design Engineer (Chemical Engineer) to play a key role in developing and scaling their innovative chemical processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Design & Development: Lead the design and optimisation of chemical processes, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.
2. Scale-Up & Commercialisation: Develop and implement strategies to scale processes from lab to full-scale production.
3. Equipment & Plant Design: Specify, design, and integrate key process equipment, FEED / Conceptual design.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and operational regulations.

1. Chemical Engineering Expertise: Degree or above in Chemical Engineering with extensive design engineering experience.
2. Broad Process Knowledge: Experience across process industries, including speciality chemicals, green / bio chemical, renewables technology / manufacturing.
3. Scale-Up Experience: Proven ability to take processes from concept to full-scale production.
4. Equipment Design & Integration: Strong knowledge of process equipment and design and modelling software i.e. Aspen Plus / HYSYS, gPROMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA.
