Role Overview:
Manages DPO
Required Experience:
- Comprehensive understanding of current UK data protection law (PECR, UK GDPR, DPA 2018) and proactive in learning about new developments
- Application of UK data protection law principles to operations – e.g. analytics, data transfers, marketing, MI reporting
- Use of a privacy platform for recording legal reviews of risk
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating data protection clauses and data transfer agreements
- Understanding of individual rights under UK data protection law
- Drafting and reviewing privacy notices
Beneficial:
- Experience of using OneTrust for legal reviews of DPIAs and ROPA assessments
