Job description
Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering consultancy in the Cambridge area, which, due to recent project wins, is expanding their R+D capabilities by adding a senior/principal hardware engineer to the team.
You'll come in working on cutting-edge technology in the health & life-science space. Although this is the project you'll begin working on, the business also takes projects in other sectors, including consumer, defence/security, healthcare, cellular, and energy, which are all areas you can get involved with over time.
- 7+ years of experience working in an electronic/hardware engineering role
- Exposure to the full hardware design life-cycle, taking projects from concept to production.
- Experience with analogue and digital electronic design
- PCB design/layout, schematic capture, documentation, as well as testing and validation.
- Experience with leading projects or a small development team
- Some embedded software development (C)
- Working on standards-driven projects
