Job description

Our client, a leading Building Control & Fire Safety consultancy, is currently looking to recruit a Senior/Principal Building Control Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the North London patch.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting detailed plan reviews to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
  2. Carrying out inspections on construction sites at various stages of the building process
  3. Providing technical advice and guidance to clients, architects, and contractors
  4. Working closely with colleagues to find the best outcome.

Job Requirements:
  1. A ranging experience in Building Control
  2. Knowledge of current building regulations and standards
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to interpret complex architectural plans and drawings

Our client is open to considering candidates with different levels of experience, with Level 3 being desirable but Class 2 also being considered. The salary for this position is currently up to £75,000, with a car allowance of £4,800 per year and mileage reimbursement of 45p per mile. You will be required to spend 2 days in the office, and the package also includes 31 days of annual holiday, bank holidays, and a pension scheme.
