Senior Pricing Analyst

REMOTE - Quarterly office meet up

Full-time

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join a leading retail pricing team within the UK personal lines insurance sector. If you're passionate about data, innovation, and using advanced analytical tools to shape pricing strategies, this role offers the perfect platform to make a significant impact.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Designing and developing innovative pricing models
  2. Conducting price optimisation and customer lifetime value modelling
  3. Extracting insights from data using tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R
  4. Building and maintaining predictive models using a range of statistical techniques
  5. Collaborating with underwriting, data science, and other business units
  6. Presenting actionable insights to senior stakeholders to drive commercial decisions
  7. Leading continuous improvements in process and model performance
What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience in general insurance pricing (personal lines preferred)
  2. Hands-on knowledge of tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, R, (Emblem OR Radar)
  3. Strong understanding of predictive modelling techniques (e.g. Logistic Regression, GBMs, Decision Trees, Clustering)
  4. A quantitative degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or similar
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into business actions
