Are you an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager or looking for a new challenge with a growing and reputable company or a Bid Manager / Estimating Manager / Experienced Preconstruction individual looking for your next role in preconstruction?

This role has a great progression opportunity to move up to a Director level role. You should be from a main contracting background and have a broad understanding of the various stages of winning a project and the transition thereafter into project delivery. This includes planning, programming, pricing, enabling works, and all-round delivery, as well as the management of a team to assist with this.

I have an exciting opportunity to join a national main contractor operating across the regional civil engineering sector. This role has no specific location, but the candidate must be willing to travel to meetings as required. You will be working on a varied portfolio of multimillion-pound projects and will be involved in numerous client-facing duties.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Experience in taking projects from tender through to completion
2. Tendering & bid writing knowledge
3. Experience in ECI projects
4. Experience managing stakeholder expectations and relationships
5. Good understanding of estimating and planning
6. Strong construction methodology, planning, and commercial acumen
