Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding & Support
Location: Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, or Hereford
Salary: Up to £48,693 per annum (£39,513 - £43,693 plus a £5,000 market supplement)
Contract: Permanent | Hours: 37 per week
Relocation Package: Up to £10,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Safeguarding & Support Team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working collaboratively with partner agencies to support children and families.

The Role

  1. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to social workers, apprentices, and family support workers.
  2. Lead on practice development, training, and quality assurance.
  3. Work closely with managers to develop the team and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  4. Support the implementation of professional standards, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  1. A qualified social worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent).
  2. At least three years' experience in statutory social work.
  3. A commitment to relationship-based practice and improving outcomes for children.
