Why join GlobalData?
GlobalData is at a pivotal point in its growth journey. Following multiple acquisitions and having recently received transformational investment we need curious, ambitious, courageous people to support us in achieving our vision of becoming the world’s trusted source of strategic industry intelligence.
Our big ambitions mean that life at GlobalData is fast paced, entrepreneurial and rewarding. We recognise the collective power of our people, and it’s the collaboration of our teams that have shaped our success and will continue to do so in the future.
The role
An opportunity to join GlobalData’s light vehicle powertrain practice at a time when the industry is undergoing its most significant transition to new technology in more than 100 years. Based at the Oxford, UK offices, but with hybrid working available, the successful candidate will become an integral member of an established team responsible for tracking, forecasting and communicating powertrain and electrification trends at a detailed level. In recent times, this area has been the fastest-growing discipline within GlobalData’s Automotive Intelligence Centre and offers great scope for career progression for the right individual.
As the industry shifts to electrification, powertrain is becoming a bigger share of the value of a new vehicle, driving huge investment decisions in the sector. We are looking for an industry professional who will help guide our activities in this area, is fascinated by what lies under the bonnet and can help us to interpret the impact of technical and regulatory events for our extensive client list. Working closely not only with the powertrain and vehicle forecasting teams in Oxford, but also with teams in other regions, you will have the opportunity to use your analytical and leadership skills to the maximum in the pursuit of industry-leading research and forecasts.
