Senior Planning Officer

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Senior Planning Officer for a Local Authority based in the Merseyside area.

Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and have relevant experience.

You will be:

1. Handling complex planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries.
2. Producing reports and ensuring compliance.
3. Community engagement.
4. Conducting research and analysing data on land use, environment and demographics to inform planning decisions.
5. Enforcing regulations.
6. Policy development.

Essentials:

1. Right to work in the UK – the Council will not be able to provide sponsorship for this opportunity.
2. A degree in a relevant field and proven working experience as a Planning Officer.
3. Relevant Industry knowledge.
4. Previous experience of working within a Council is beneficial but not essential.
