Senior Pipeline Engineer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineer on a contract basis in multiple locations (Epsom / London / Peterborough / Manchester / Leeds / Glasgow).

We specialise in all aspects of water engineering within the sector whilst also delivering water engineering into multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading water transmission solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose

1. Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
3. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring

1. Chartered Civil Engineer.
2. Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
3. Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
4. Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance (e.g., HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET).
