Would you like to develop your leadership and teaching skills alongside growth of your clinical ability? If so, come and join the Network Services Therapies team at the University of North Midlands NHS Trust.

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a static Senior Physiotherapist within MSK Outpatient services. The post will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to expand their expert clinical skills in Musculoskeletal treatment & rehabilitation of acute patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. We are looking for candidates with a positive and resilient outlook and are able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in a large acute trust.

Main duties of the job

This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical skills.

Supervision will be provided by the Advanced Therapists and Principal Therapists; continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.

The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which includes weekend, late shift, bank holidays and on-call working.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with HCPC
  • CPD relevant to speciality area

Experience

  • Minimum of 18 months graduate experience as a Physiotherapist
  • Experience of supporting/supervising staff
  • Experience relevant to speciality area
  • Experience gained within an acute NHS setting
  • Ability to travel to and work across multiple sites

Knowledge, Skills & Training

  • Experience of Audits
  • Trained Clinical Educator
