Senior Physiotherapist
Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent | Part time | Up to £40,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience
33.75 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Deliver high quality, effective clinical care.

Wessex Hospital Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women's Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.

The Role: You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. The role is based in the Wessex Hospital where you can treat your patients utilising state of the art gym equipment and rehabilitation facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimise the health of our patients. The hospital is brilliantly placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programmes.

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Experience
  • Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
  • Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
  • Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills.
  • Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
