Join Our Configuration Pension Implementation Team

We are currently looking for a number of Senior Pensions Implementation Analysts to join our homebased team.

The Configuration Team sits within our Implementation Department, responsible for implementing first-class pension administration solutions for our new and existing clients. Our projects range from large blue-chip strategic transformational deliveries to small bespoke client solutions.

Job Description

You will support Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks while mentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse Calculation requirements
• Undertake system configuration, data analysis, and testing
• Upload and download system data
• Participate in client meetings and project status calls
• Liaise with clients, third parties, and Capita departments
• Support the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments
• Provide support to the line manager in the effective management of any staff under their direct control
• Support the production of requirements documentation
• Facilitate internal and external system training when required

What we’re looking for:

• End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle, able to describe key elements of projects including initiation, governance, control, and closure, with examples of participation in all stages
• Ability to draft an automated Excel calculator with basic formulas
• Capability to manipulate data with good accuracy and explain:
  • Pension member records and their setup
  • The relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds, and investments
  • Different types of Pension Schemes
  • Different types of member statuses and applicable calculations for each
• Able to draft and interpret calculation proformas to create scenario matrices incorporating all relevant scenarios
• Able to draft and check test plans detailing all expected results and system updates
