Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer for our client, a local government organisation in Kensington. The successful post holder will plan and manage the day-to-day work of the Payroll Team to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time and in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements. They will manage each payroll production cycle from beginning to end, ensuring all inputs are checked and all anomaly reports and other outputs are checked and resolved prior to finalisation according to the production schedules. They will manage the reconciliation and production of all payroll outputs to internal service areas and external third parties, which includes outputs to the General Ledger, Pensions providers, statutory bodies, courts, and voluntary contribution bodies.MUST HAVE ORACLE EXPERIENCE
This is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend after that date. This role will be hybrid working.
Working Hours: 36hrs / 9:00am - 5:00pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: £34.48 p/h
Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
