IPS Group are working with a global brand that has a well-established presence across the UK. They are committed to growing and continually developing its Property and Casualty proposition across the UK, specifically in the midmarket segment. Due to this, they are seeking an experienced property & casualty underwriter to join their underwriting division team in Leeds.

The Role/Team:
In this role, you will be dealing with property and casualty policies across the midmarket sector and are ideally looking for someone who is focused on winning New Business; however, if you are more renewal-focused, that won’t be a problem. The business has a diverse appetite, so can write risks as either combined products or singular, with premiums ranging from £25k up to £250k, along with some more complex cases as well.
You will be part of a team that has a mixture of experience, so you will have the opportunity to learn from your peers as well as provide support to your colleagues on referrals. If you are a technical underwriter who also relishes the broker relationship management piece, this will particularly appeal to you.
Required Skills/Experience:

We are looking to speak to individuals who have experience within a similar role with an insurer or from a broker that has DUA. We will consider individuals who have experience working on commercial combined or singular policies.
