Senior or Geo-Environmental Engineer

Permanent,

Edinburgh (Could be based in Glasgow as well)

£35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on level of experience)

The Role: We are looking for a Senior or Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will work independently and under limited supervision, delivering a wide variety of project types. Your responsibilities will include client liaison, financial management, and quality management. You may also oversee other engineers in the undertaking of site works and the development of production information.

Key Duties:

  • Attending sites across Scotland to conduct site investigations.
  • Conducting desk studies and designing ground investigations.
  • Coordinating, analysing, and report writing for ground investigations.
  • Leading various projects across sectors, from heritage sites to modern developments.
  • Experience in any GIS software and/or AutoCAD would be advantageous.

The Right Fit: You will have:

  • Significant similar experience in a multidisciplinary consultancy.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel and work outdoors.
  • A relevant degree such as geosciences/geology (or equivalent) and be actively working under a recognised professional institution training pathway towards chartership.
