Senior Nursery Manager

Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Senior Nursery Manager for a large early years day care setting in the Bristol area.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday.

In order to be considered for the role of Senior Nursery Manager in the Bristol area you will need:

• Nursery Management level experience in a good or outstanding setting
• Experience leading good or outstanding Ofsted inspections
• A passionate and positive attitude
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to train staff in this area
• A full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable

The role of Senior Nursery Manager will include:

• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships of children and their families according to the curriculum
• Overseeing the smooth running and high-quality practice across the Nursery
• Leading on planning
• Dealing with outside agencies
