Senior Nurse

Springfield Care Centre is an 80 Bedded Home in Ilford.

We are looking for a dedicated nurse who is seeking a step up as a Senior Nurse within our nursing home.

The home is overall good with CQC, with a longstanding dedicated Home Manager to support you.

The hours for this position:

1. 2x 12 hour shifts
2. 2x 8 hour supernumerary shifts

1. Manage the clinical staff with nursing expertise.
2. Organise and supervise clinical staff and develop their professional abilities in line with the hospital's policies, methods, and procedures.
3. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by nurses and report issues in a timely manner.
4. Ensure that junior nurses are properly trained.
5. Identify potential complaints and resolve them before they become a problem for patients, the hospital, or other nurses.
6. Provide coaching on leadership skills to nursing staff.
7. Manage conflict resolution and workplace disputes.
8. Coordinate activities for nurses in related fields, and share information with them.
