Key Responsibilities

We're looking for a skilled Senior Network Technician to join our team, supporting the safety and integrity of our critical infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you'll manage risk assessments, oversee access and permits, and ensure all works are delivered to high technical and safety standards.

You'll be responsible for reviewing RAMS, coordinating contractor activity on-site, managing project work such as RTU replacements, and ensuring all system alarms are addressed before leaving site. Communication with internal teams and third-party providers is key, along with maintaining accurate documentation and providing regular progress updates.

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need the following:

Proven experience in electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms with centrally managed control system.
A solid understanding of HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and risk management processes.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, liaise with stakeholders, and manage mission-critical projects.
A good understanding of and experience working with Network, Routers, switches and servers.
Good knowledge of communication technologies, Telemetry and 4G.
Good understanding of electrical systems and regulations.

It would also be beneficial for you to hold:

City & Guilds 236 (Pt 1 & 2).
SCO 1, 2 & 5.
EUSR Gas Safety Passport.
Familiarity with Gallagher control systems, RTUs, and ITIL frameworks is an advantage.
Electrical Certification to level 3.
