What You'll Do:

1. Network Management: Maintain and optimise wired and wireless networking technologies, ensuring seamless performance.
2. Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge in subnetting, routing (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), and Cisco switching (Catalyst and Nexus platforms) to tackle complex challenges.
3. Cybersecurity Focus: Implement network authentication technologies (Cisco ISE, RADIUS, TACACS+) and adhere to cybersecurity best practices to protect our infrastructure.
4. Project Support: Assist in the configuration and installation of new infrastructure, helping to deliver exciting new projects while managing day-to-day operations.
5. Communication & Mentoring: Share your expertise by providing technical guidance to junior staff and ensuring effective communication across IT and non-IT teams.

Your Skills and Experience:

1. Extensive experience in an enterprise networking environment (3+ years in a senior role).
2. Proficient in wired and wireless networking technologies, Cisco management products, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
3. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex network issues.
4. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) are essential; CCNP or CCIE is desirable.
