Senior Network Engineer

My client is a large Watford based company, and they are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team and assist with their end of life global network replacement project.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will include:

1. Completes network Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyzes process for improvement
2. Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations
3. Participates in the network technology design process
4. Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production
5. Works as a member of a project team on business projects

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

1. Requires in-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices
2. Knowledge of a network technology discipline (e.g. IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, SD WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure)
3. Knowledge of data centres (beneficial)
4. Knowledge of incident and change management principles and best practices
