Senior .Net Engineer

Salary: up to 72,000

Location: Fully remote

About the Senior .Net Engineer position:

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be supporting a long-standing client with the recruitment of a Senior .Net Engineer to engage in an exciting new project. This role is with a North East based organisation but is fully remote to accommodate your work-life balance.

Key responsibilities of the Senior .Net Engineer role will include:

1. Developing and delivering secure software solutions using modern frameworks and practices initially on a greenfield solution.
2. Working in an agile environment within a cross-functional team and proactively driving continuous improvement in software, techniques, and processes.
3. Being responsible for highly complex strategic and innovative solutions with the ability to present and articulate technical executions clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Having significant authority and autonomy to ensure service delivery and quality standards are maintained within the specialist innovative technical development management unit.

The ideal candidate for the Senior .Net Engineer role will have the following experience:

1. Knowledge of Azure and AWS DevOps environments, with experience in migrating services and product/feature development of software products.
2. Ability to take on significant complex problems and implement high-performance solutions.
3. Experience with .Net Core, C#, and ASP.Net.
4. Familiarity with microservices design patterns and approaches.
5. Experience with CI/CD setup and delivery.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
7. Capability of teaching, mentoring, or pair-programming with other team members.

Desirable technologies:

1. ARM Templates/Terraform/Powershell
2. Azure API management, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Functions
