Senior National Account Manager - 12 Month FTC

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham, United Kingdom

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are working with a vibrant and successful nutrition and lifestyle brand within the FMCG industry that is looking for a Senior Account Manager on a 12 FTC.

This role is a hybrid role and will require you to be based in their Birmingham offices 3 days per week.

Job Duties:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth within national accounts
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability
4. Conduct regular business reviews and provide insights to improve performance
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of account strategies
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
2. Demonstrated success in selling and negotiating with national retail accounts
3. National responsibility for one of the big four Grocers is essential
4. Strong business acumen and ability to develop effective business plans
5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Deep understanding of the FMCG industry and retail landscape
8. Proficiency in business planning and financial analysis
9. Strong negotiation and influencing skills

If successful you can expect a salary of between £55,000 and £65,000 per annum along with the chance to work with a fantastic growth brand that is a market leader within the UK.
