Senior MRI Radiographer
Warwickshire Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time | Up to £42,000 Pro Rata dependent on experience
36 Hours per week
Nuffield Health has an opportunity for a Senior MRI Radiographer in our Warwickshire Hospital. Join us and play your part in building a healthier nation.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Radiographer you will:

  • The hours of work will be three long 12 hour days each week, Monday - Saturday.
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload.
  • Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment and facilities. We have a new GE MRI scanner due to be installed this year.
  • As a senior clinical team member, you will enjoy scoping to develop policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and develop more junior staff members.
  • Support the Radiology Manager with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Deputise for the MRI Lead when required.
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

To succeed as a Senior MRI Radiographer you will have:

  • Current MRI expertise and experience.
  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) in an area of specialization.
  • Post registration experience relevant to the role.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for your profession.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
  • Experience working on GE scanners is desirable.
