The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in marketing optimization to join the new LMI AI function. Working closely with the head of AI, the head of data engineering and the marketing team your focus will be on the development of a new ML based capability to enhance global LMI marketing campaign performance.
Your first mission will be to:
- Leverage historical customer behaviour and marketing campaign data
- Develop and deploy a new predicted Lifetime Value (pLTV) based targeting capability into the LMI marketing stack.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and deploy ML models to predict customer metrics (such as pLTV) as our customers interact with our ecosystem.
- Create algorithms to translate and transmit these metrics to paid ad platforms to optimize LMI ad campaign targeting.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define, prototype, and integrate new ML-based capabilities with existing data flows and marketing strategies.
- Work with the data engineering team to build and maintain feature pipelines on top of our data warehouse (Snowflake, DBT).
- Monitor and optimize deployed ML systems to deliver upgrades to LMI marketing campaign performance on target KPIs such as return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and look for ways to leverage these to further marketing performance.
- Design and build systems from the ground up in line with MLOps and Software Engineering best practices.
What We’re Looking For
-Experience: 5+ years in end-to-end ML system development with a focus on customer behaviour and marketing optimisation.
-Expertise: Proven track record in building scalable ML systems using modern MLOps practices.
- Skills: Proficiency in ML modelling frameworks, strong Python skills, and SQL knowledge.
- Enthusiasm: for staying up to date with the latest advancements in AI and applying new ML technology to solve real-world problems.
- Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
While pLTV based targeting optimisation is the first marketing stack improvement that this role will be focused on, experience with any of the following will also be highly beneficial:
