The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset’s integrity lifecycle.
The Metallurgy function within our Asset Management business sector provides technical support and metallurgical expertise across a wide range of customer projects.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Metallurgist to join our mission of delivering certified Asset Management service, consultancy, and integrated projects, across the global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.
As a Senior Metallurgist, you will have a proven track record of leading metallurgical support in a relevant transferable role, as well as demonstrating technical expertise in the field of metallurgy.
You will be supporting a wide variety of customer projects across several sectors from Nuclear to Renewables. As part of this support, you will be required to work in our UKAS accredited laboratories and on our customers' sites, both in the UK and abroad. As a minimum, you will possess an Honours Degree in a relevant discipline or will be able to demonstrate a proven track record and level of competency in a relevant role.
