Is this Senior Meeting and Events Coordinator role right for me?
As our Senior Meeting & Events Coordinator at Richmond Hill Hotel, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences that guests remember for all the right reasons. You’ll be a natural organiser, detail-obsessed, and passionate about creating moments that truly matter.
You don’t just plan events—you create memories. You know how to turn a simple meeting into something meaningful, and how to add personal touches that guests will talk about long after they leave. You’re the kind of person who remembers a client’s favourite drink, lights up when a guest says “this was perfect,” and genuinely cares about making each event feel special.
We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, a warm and confident personality, and a genuine passion for people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end Event Coordination: Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial enquiry through to the final farewell – including show rounds, proposals, contracts, and post-event follow-up.
- Client Relationships: Be the friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for clients—offering tailored advice, creative solutions, and five-star service from start to finish.
- Sales Focus: Confidently convert enquiries into bookings, upselling where appropriate to maximise revenue while keeping the guest’s needs at heart.
- Diary & System Management: Maintain accurate booking records using our systems like Opera, ensuring smooth communication across all departments.
- On-the-Day Coordination: Oversee key events to ensure everything runs like clockwork and last-minute surprises are handled calmly and professionally.
- Feedback & Improvement: Gather guest feedback, share key insights with the team, and work together to elevate our service and guest journey even further.
What we’re looking for…
- A hunger for hospitality and going the extra mile.
- Someone that is willing to bring their best, authentic self to work. Rather than reading from a script or putting on a persona, our approach is all about bringing the very best version of ourselves to work every day.
- A creative approach to your role – we believe that a game-changing idea can come from anyone, anytime.
- Someone who thrives in a dynamic and vibrant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
If this sounds like a role you could get excited about, we would love to hear from you! Please note that all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
