The Senior Medical Writer will play a key role in crafting high-quality, scientifically accurate content for various healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This role requires an experienced writer with a deep understanding of medical and scientific concepts, who can translate complex data into compelling messages for healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with our account management, creative, and strategy teams to deliver content across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and review a wide range of medical and scientific materials, including white papers, research articles, patient brochures, slide decks, and promotional content.
Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure scientific integrity and compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, ensuring all content aligns with their goals, brand, and therapeutic area.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, creative, and digital to ensure the seamless integration of content into broader campaign strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and adjusting to changes in scope as needed.
Provide guidance and support to junior medical writers, helping to foster their growth and development within the team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of medical writing experience in a healthcare communications or marketing agency, or within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a life sciences field, or relevant experience in medical writing.
Strong understanding of medical and scientific terminology across various therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, cardiology, neurology, and more.
