About the Role:

As a Senior Medical Writer, you’ll play a key role in developing high-quality medical communications materials that deliver exceptional results for clients. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are accurate, engaging, and compliant with industry standards. Projects may include slide decks, webinar scripts, digital content, and more—always focused on making a real impact in healthcare communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop high-quality medical content, including slide decks, webinar scripts, and digital assets.
2. Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored communication solutions.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, including client services and editorial, to deliver seamless project execution.
4. Ensure all content adheres to compliance standards, including ABPI guidelines.
5. Mentor and provide guidance to junior writers to uphold quality and team development.

What You’ll Bring:

1. Proven experience as a Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer within a medical communications agency.
2. Strong scientific background, with a BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences; advanced degrees (MSc, PhD) preferred.
3. Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
4. Experience working directly with pharmaceutical clients and delivering content tailored to their objectives.
5. Familiarity with ABPI compliance and other industry regulations.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
