Senior Media Manager / Strategist, London / Hybrid Working – Up to £52k plus benefits


This Senior Media Manager / Strategist will play a vital role within a globally-recognised integrated agency that produces exceptional behavioural change work. You will be working on media campaigns that genuinely improve lives across the world.


This role will focus on strategy and media planning for diverse projects in multiple countries.


Responsibilities:

  1. Bring a rigorous approach to the development of media dissemination strategies and planning to effect knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours in target audience groups.
  2. Champion multiple sources of research, best practices, and critical thinking, including innovative media strategy and planning approaches.
  3. Set an example in media strategy/planning and digital/performance marketing to answer client problems by developing effective ways of working, tools, and techniques.
  4. Provide communications strategy and media guidance to other members of the strategy and other departments as appropriate.
  5. Manage junior media strategists/planners to work as part of the team to deliver results.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience of designing and implementing integrated media campaigns across a range of channels including digital, performance, TV, OOH, radio, social, and influencer marketing.
  2. A working knowledge of the pros and cons of earned media channels including social media, public relations, and public affairs.
  3. Knowledge of fundamental techniques, tools, and practices of a media strategist.
  4. Ability to quickly analyse and process large volumes of data and insight from multiple sources.
  5. Ability to craft and present effective communications strategy and media plans for target audiences in hard-to-reach environments.
  6. Ability to work with messaging strategists and creative staff/partners to ensure impactful media and communication strategies.
  7. Adept at managing multiple partner relationships including media buying agencies, digital platforms, data suppliers, and in-country media consultants.
  8. Ability to understand the culture and media landscape of a country and translate this into usable insight for message dissemination.
  9. Knowledge of multiple forms of research for strategy development and reporting.
  10. Experience in a similar working environment.
  11. Excellent oral and written communications skills (English).
  12. An interest in geo-politics and international relations.
