Senior Mechanical Fitter
Northfleet, Kent
£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus Schemes
Monday to Friday (Days) 7am-4pm

Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Fitter to oversee all maintenance activities on site.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing a team of 2 mechanical fitters
2. Managing contractors
3. Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
4. Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation are up to date
5. Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Must have at least 3 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter
2. Supervisory experience is beneficial
3. NEBOSH certificate would be beneficial but can be obtained on the job
4. Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
5. Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
6. Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
7. Good hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
8. Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
