Position Summary

To provide Maintenance Engineering support and professional engineering advice in accordance with governing documents, quality and norms of both client and company.

Develop philosophies, strategies and routines for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations and manage activities in client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL
  1. Ensure effective input and management of data within CMMS database.
  2. Manage project specific technical data from client library/documentation.
  3. Development of Asset Register and hierarchy in accordance with project drawings and documentation.
  4. Conduct criticality assessments and facilitate FMECA / RCM's.
  5. Evaluate, define, and develop specific maintenance concepts, programs, and strategies for onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.
  6. Liaise with Client Technical Authorities and Disciplines Leads to deliver optimized maintenance requirements.
  7. Provide technical assistance to the maintenance and operations departments on equipment and reliability issues and technologies.
  8. Perform Root Cause Problem Elimination for equipment failures.
  9. Perform audits of the maintenance programs on industrial assets and provide insights on the level of compliancy.
  10. Undertake spare part evaluations and develop bills of materials.
  11. Manage the preparation of data for input into reviews/and (or) client presentations and meetings.
  12. Ensure effective operation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems as required.
  13. Manage re-evaluations of maintenance programmes based on operational feedback.
  14. Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service.
  15. Support the Line Manager in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
  16. Assist the development of a supportive and collaborative work culture.

NON-ESSENTIAL
  1. The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
  2. Assist with any other duties as and when required.
  3. Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Qualifications

REQUIRED
  1. Degree qualified, with industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline.

DESIRED
  1. Award of professional engineer status within local region.
