Senior Mechanical Engineer

Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a well-established company with a proven track record of providing high-quality, often custom-made products and services throughout the entire project lifecycle, to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer on a 12 month contract for its Chorley site.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer role comes with an hourly rate of £50-£56.

Key skills required for the Senior Mechanical Engineer role

1. A professionally registered Engineer
2. Level 4 qualification (HNC) in an engineering discipline relevant to the role
3. Experience in engineering design development using appropriate CAD software
4. Knowledge of production and checking of manufacturing and assembly drawings for complex machined and fabricated components
