Senior Mechanical Engineer
Manchester City Centre
Salary: 50,000+

An opportunity to work with an internationally known brand in their Mechanical Engineering team in the city centre of Manchester. This business has an international reach and is renowned in the UK for Healthcare Projects, Schools, Residential and Commercial projects both in the UK and internationally. Their projects are multi-disciplinary and developed through multiple departments within the business including Architecture and Civil/Structural as well as the MEP team too. Multi-disciplinary projects are not new to this business; having been in operation for more than 60 years, they have handled plenty of major projects over the years.

You will join an established Mechanical team that works closely with other Building Services disciplines. Working closely with Engineers, other Seniors, Associates, and Directors, you will deliver medium to large projects that are international as well as UK-based.

What they need from you:

• Degree qualified, preferably with a Masters
• CIBSE Member or equivalent and keen to work towards or already chartered
• Enthusiastic about building services engineering and able to project that passion to clients and those consulted on design phases.
• Broad sector experience with a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions, and renewable technologies is a must
• Energy Strategies and Building Physics experience an advantage
• Worked within a digital engineering environment and a desire to develop these skills
