We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Building Services to join our dynamic and growing team in Manchester. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design, specification, and delivery of mechanical building services projects from inception to completion.
  2. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers.
  3. Conduct site inspections, surveys, and liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Ensure designs comply with industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and best practices.
  5. Manage project deadlines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  6. Support business development activities, including client relationship management and proposals.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with a recognised institution (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE).
  3. Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering, including HVAC, ventilation, and public health systems.
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability principles (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
  5. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Hevacomp.
  6. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
