About the Role

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of UK infrastructure? This exciting opportunity as a Senior Mechanical Engineer offers the chance to work on transformational programmes for critical national infrastructure projects. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and contribute to multidisciplinary teams, working on diverse and challenging sectors including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. You will be part of a team delivering world-class mechanical engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from design to construction, while supporting clients at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team in undertaking technical design work in line with relevant design standards and codes.
  2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  3. Manage time, budgets, and key project milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Collaborate with teams in the UK and internationally to provide integrated design solutions.
  5. Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in design delivery.

What You Can Bring:

  1. Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
  2. Proven experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  3. Strong expertise in mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plant.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of UK design standards and best practices.
  5. Knowledge of legislation, including CDM and ATEX.
