Senior Mechanical / Design Engineer required!

True are working with an independent mechanical & energy consultancy that specialises in providing sustainable and low-carbon solutions across the Residential, Housing, and Commercial sectors. They collaborate with Architects, Developers, and Homeowners across the UK, helping them reduce their carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency through the design and integration of renewable energy systems.

They are looking for a Senior Mechanical / Design Engineer to lead projects, guide clients through the design stages, and eventually manage and oversee a team of engineers. With a clear growth strategy in place, this role offers the potential for progression into a Technical Director position, providing an opportunity to help shape the future of the business and play a key role in the organic growth of the team.

With customer experience and retention at the heart of their operations, they're looking for someone who can embrace and champion this philosophy, embedding it into the culture for future recruits.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead projects and guide clients through design stages.
2. Manage and oversee a team of engineers.
3. Champion customer experience and retention philosophy.

Qualifications:

1. Experience working for an M&E / HVAC / Energy Consultant / Contractor.
2. Passion for decarbonisation.
3. Strong background in designing Heating & Mechanical systems.
4. Good knowledge of either Autocad or Revit is essential.

Senior Mechanical / Design Engineer package:

1. Up to £65,000 basic (DOE)
