Position Summary
GHD has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team based in either our Manchester, Chester or Leeds offices. You will have experience working on multi-discipline design projects within the Water sector, and it would be advantageous to have experience in other sectors such as Industrial, Chemical, Power, or Nuclear.
Ideally, candidates should have achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and have a minimum of 7 years' experience working in an engineering design organisation.
Providing solutions to fit the needs of our clients, you will be developing design deliverables such as 3D models, GA drawings, piping isometrics, schedules, data sheets, and reports.
You will also have daily exposure to clients and feel comfortable building and developing strong business relationships and work pipelines.
Qualifications, Technical Skills, and Experience
We are looking for the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
An aptitude for pipework stress analysis (static and dynamic) would be advantageous.
