Salary - Competitive DOE

Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week.

The company:

Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company.

Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with experience ideally in the motorsport industry or similar to join them on a range of exciting upcoming projects. Essential duties and responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the design/analysis of critical components for exciting new projects.
  2. Manage and implement manuals for the manufacturing build teams.
  3. Using CATIA V5 to create models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
  4. Communicating with external suppliers for fault analysis and product development.
  5. Work with internal teams to help manage the build processes and update customers and suppliers on progress.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

  1. Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment - Motorsport, F1 or similar.
  2. Efficient user of CATIA V5R21 for technical drawings.
  3. High competence level with PC / typical software - MS Office (particularly Excel), Matlab, etc.
  4. Degree qualified or equivalent in a mechanical or engineering discipline.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once.
