I am working with the UK's primary developer and operator of Clean Heat Networks who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. This is a remote-based role with travel into their London office once or twice per week, therefore you will need to be situated within a commutable distance of London. The company works with a range of clients, mostly New Build Housing and Multi-Occupancy Building developers for which they design, install, and operate Heat Pump Networks. The company has been operating since 2012 and has quickly grown to a team of circa 50 people. As the team grows, there will be opportunities for progression.
As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for a range of renewable energy heat network projects. These will include 4th and 5th generation heat networks, energy centres, and distribution through multi-occupancy developments, including new-build housing developments, hotels, schools, and commercial buildings. You will be working as part of the mechanical design team to deliver projects from feasibility through to construction. This is a technical role and will enable you to work on all parts of the project from upfront strategic planning right through to project management and implementation.
The design team is growing quickly. They have a Junior Design Engineer starting and are recruiting for both a Design Engineer and this role as Senior. As the team expands, there will be opportunities for progression for you.
